The Bradford on Avon Photography Group's 'Year Two' Exhibition 2011

What another fantastic weekend, Year Two was a corker! Set up day was fun, we all got on with it, knowing what we had to do and were all finished by 1pm - the weather was beautiful so we headed for the pub. Big thanks goes to the frame hangers, without them we'd still be there now.

The evening started at 7.15pm back at the West Barn to set up for the Open Evening. People all began arriving and before we knew it, the place was full. MP Duncan Hames began with a brief intro about the exhibition and the group, Gary from Sally Narrowboats who kindly sponsored us was up next telling everyone about the narrowboats and giving us lots of support. After the speeches I thanked Duncan for opening our evening and Gary for his support and sponsorship. Big thanks again to them both.

Day One, the weather was brilliant and meant the Barton Farm complex received lots of visitors to see how far the BoA Photography Group had come since our 'Year One' exhibition. One comment that recurred was that there were a lot of 'black and white' photos in the collection and this year we laid a table down the middle of the room with a selection of postcards and photo books which was a great success and something we'll incorporate into future exhibitions.

Day Two, fantastic weather again, so footfall was good - it didn't seem to stop all day. 5pm came around quickly so we packed up and headed down to the Ale & Porter again to hang our photos there for a month. If you missed us at the West Barn, head to the Ale & Porter to see our work.

Thank you to everyone involved and who came to support us.
